Tried taking it off last night but my hands were a bit wet so they kept slipping, it looks like it can clear it is just being able to grab

Tried taking it off last night but my hands were a bit wet so they kept slipping, it looks like it can clear it is just being able to grab the pole that screws into the two hook. It is two separate pieces, tow hook pole & metal bracket, and if you try to twist from the metal bracket you just loosen that bolt so you have to grab the tow hook pole.
