Are you just going to fill the opening or add the nav control button and fill that like in one of the other pictures? I like mine, but I was curious to see how it would be done if you left the U shaped dash kit piece and just added a piece on top to cover the opening.

I will cover it up with a piece of plastic and mount a touch pad for the computer in there. EVC will probably go on the center console. Can't do anything till next week bc TT is being installed!

Ever since I have gotten mine back I have been trying to think of something to put in the blank spot now. Everyone says touch screen but for what? Never change the camp2 setup, will not control my head unit.

Yeah in your case you don't need a touch screen, 2 screens is enough lol. I need the touch pad to move the mouse bc I find it a bit tricky to use the rest of the regular PC functions just by using the touchscreen. I will try to mount one of this there:

You should mount your EDFC in there.

We were thinking of mounting the EDFC there, but ended up putting in the the center console which I like. I change it maybe a couple times a week at the most so being hidden is nice.

Depending on what OS and power level of the system he build he could easily do voice to text and not need a keyboard.

I was thinking on a mini wireless keyboard, like from a ps3 or something.

I was initially running widows 8 but that thing is not stable at all yet. I am on Windows7 x64. Parts list:

SSD: SAMSUNG 830 Series MZ-7PC064B/WW 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC
RAM: G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Slim X3 CLP0534 80mm
Bluetooth adapter: cirago BTA-3210
Case Fan for PSU: ENERMAX UC-8EB 80mm
Monitor: MCS-LIL-669-HB-DD-MCT Multi Touch Capacitive Double DIN High Bright Lilliput 669GL-70NP/C/T
Mini ITX case: MCS-BBM Black Box Mobile Case for Mini ITX Based Car PC's
PSU: MCS-ATX-M4 M4-ATX 250W 6-30V DC-DC Power Supply

I like the voice recognition thingy. I might look into it.
