Mr. G. Brettin's Slow Motion Leg Hump

Yes, I have elegant piano hands. Missed my calling as a stand in child hand model.

Get'm Garage came through on my oil squirters for my 5.3. Should be able to get this done this week and then assembly will commence, finally.

Valve covers came in today. (further cat inspections)

If anyone says "LS Swaps are cheap". Direct them to me. I'd like to personally spit in their eye.

Part 2 of drilling and tapping the oil squirters. I also knocked off the cast flashing so that debris would not come off during operation.

I'm going to weld the OE diff for this year and upgrade next year to a nice 1.5. I was thinking Wavetrac but I'm not sold on any one diff yet.

The oem diff won't explode like a bad hand grenade with the power your shooting for?

No. People have been putting 800 hp to them for a while. The axles do need an up grade over 800 hp.

Main bearings in so that I can mic the crank and main bearing clearances. I'll get to the measurements tomorrow, didn't have a whole lot of time tonight.

Check out the before and after machine work on the crank! It's been polished and perfectly balanced so that I can spin 9k+RPM.

Internal, or external balance? (with or without dampener and flywheel) Did they have to add weight anywhere. If they did. Did they use Mallory metal?

It was balanced with the flywheel and they had to add some weight (which adds $$$ fast). Not sure what kind of metal they used. I don't have my ATI Dampener yet and was told it should be ok.

When adding heavy metal. The cost can sky rocket. Or kill a crank.
