Hey goldy, just saw your post. If you still have it, feel free to PM me your best price and we can take it from there
|
Just put some $$ down on an M1014 in NIB/unfired condition. Will pay it off next pay check in 2 weeks.
Then I'm selling the C-stock if anyone wants it. Replacing with Mesa Urbino, and slapping on some Meprolites and a Ti magazine tube that holds the 7 shells it was originally designed to hold. |
Nice Arsenal! I love mine but i think it has a longer muzzle break
Ive already posted these pics but what the hell why not. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7202/6...6c705134_b.jpg IMAG0157 by nitex08, on Flickr http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7134/6...83db8922_b.jpg IMAG0154 by nitex08, on Flickr After modstock mods and new adjustible stock http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7123/7...d096608e_b.jpg IMAG0193 by nitex08, on Flickr |
Nice! I am still divided on the AK platform. Not sure if I will keep it or not, but I am definitely waiting until AFTER the election to make that call! The milled arsenals are hard to find!
|
I want an AK just to have one. I'd just use it as a functional display piece or something.

I recently just bought an AK, it's a Romanian model with wood grip and wood stock. I've only shot it once so far but it's a lot of fun. A lot more accurate then I thought too. I just bought a tactaical rail for it so I could mount a scope for some outdoor shooting. Any suggestions on a good scope for up to 300 yards?

You're not popping ground-hogs, your putting them in the boiler-room. Just my .02 on it. Save the Leupold for the deer rifle or DMR. Your AK should hold 2-4 MOA with a good shooter and ammo, IMO. |

Thoughts on the bodyguard?
|
Quote:
I only have 50 rounds though it but it was flawless. For Summer carry The .380 is so small I hardly notice it. Perfect with just a T-shirt. I was considering the Ruger LCP but I liked the feel of the BodyGuard better. Plus I like that the slide locks open after the last round, many of the .380's don't. Also the sights are better than most .380's... they are adjustable and not the little nubs you see on many of the mouse guns. The Built in Laser is a nice extra too. I'd recommend it for sure. |
Thanks man. My full size 1911 doesn't carry well in the summer. was lookin into the bodyguard.

You really can't go wrong with the BodyGuard for easy concealment. Especially for Summer. Springfield Armory has a new compact .45 coming out now. the XDS .45. The thing is small. I'm going to pick up one of those once they start hitting the gun shops. |

For a change I am seriously considering buying a 1911, and as you all know there are many, many manufacturers. When I go out to the interweb reading forums and blogs for guidance for which to chose, I swear that 1911 fanboys are worse than the Chevy vs. Ford guys...it makes my head want to explode. Within the same thread every make of 1911 is both the best and the worst...
Well anywho I kinda like the looks of Kimber and I am thinking about picking up a Tactical Entry II. Is there any reason why I shouldn't go for this brand/model? The price isn't that important to me. |

if price isn't an option....Dan Wesson. I have a s&w 1911. My buddy has six kimbers. He refuses to buy a kimber made after a certain year, according to him the quality started heading downhill a few years ago. Something to think about. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...glockv1911.jpg for those who don't know, JMB stands for John Moses Browning, who designed the 1911 from instructional stone tablets given to him upon the mountain from GOD. |
