It was solid, just my fat uncoordinated thumbs had a hard time with the small knife. Im to used to spring assist these days.

Edit* to be honest i was thinking of my small kershaw at the bottom. The S&W is much easier to flip, still not spring assisted but i was able to get it opened fast!

Nice gratz! I love my G19 but mine is fairly custom built gen3. Gen4's are still better for rapid fire imo..

X - Very nice! What are the 2 in the middle?

Dzel 04-04-2012 09:42 AM

I saw that butterfly and shuttered a bit. Reminded me of when I was young and dumb trying to show off and damn near cut my finger off.:ugh2:

I just bought my first Glock (model 19 Gen 4) a few weeks ago and have put a few hundred rounds through it without any issues and I have to say it feels and shoots much better than I expected. Last night I cleaned it for the second time and I was astonished that it looked like it hasn't been fired once (besides the light dusting of carbon which I wiped off easily and quickly). This leads me to believe that the Glock engineers really pay a lot of attention to detail down to the treatment of the metal and choice of plastic. Impressive!

Congrats on your new Glock!

Dzel 04-04-2012 10:10 AM

Thanks the Glocks are pretty much maintanence free. Some pals of mine clean theres once a year. Believe it or not I haven't put a single round through. If I don't go out and shoot it soon I'm going to the backyard and bust a couple of rounds

Mine was from high school lol. Its single edged so i never came close to cutting myself.

I remember being < 11 years old when I still lived in the Philippines and I tried to buy a butterfly knife at the mall. The lady wouldn't let me but she sold me a switch blade and a pen knife instead.

If I recall correctly your uncle will be very disappointed...On the other hand that is such a cool Glock model. I have been eyeballing a long slide Glock myself, but I am probably going to get a 1911 first ;)

Fun stuff! Tell us how it shoots.

If anyone is interested, I am selling a Mossberg 500 Tactical Persuader in California. Of course the sale will have to go through all the proper legal channels, but thought Id give my Z buddies a first dibs on it if anyone was looking for a quality shotty

What he said. And ... :pics:

SgtGoldy 04-11-2012 03:05 AM

Price: 500
Comes With: Bag, Sightmark Red Dot, Blackhawk single point sling, Picatinny sight rail, Saddle bag on collapsible stock, Upgraded Barrel to Breaching Barrel.

Purchased in Texas so it is not registered. Had it for work, but no longer in that game anymore so it never is taken out. To be honest its only been out to shoot twice. Each time a little over 50 rounds put through it. I have some older pics that I can post now. Will post updated ones later

No ffl, so gotta try to keep it in Cali.

saddle is on the left cuz im a lefty. can be transferred to the right

Dzel 04-11-2012 04:53 AM

Man I have been itching to buy a shotgun, I was looking at a combat type shotgun for 600. Just don't have the cash right now. When I saw the sight pic instantly thought "IT'S JUST LIKE MW3"!

SgtGoldy 04-11-2012 04:57 AM

its a really good sight. Some dont like red dots on shotty's but I think it works fine. Stands up to the recoil like a boss

About once a year they hold .50 cal/machine gun shoots where you can rent time on almost any kind of gun. I would be very suprised that they don't do the same thing in Texas. Just a thought...
