Was watching the Ravens - Titans game. The Ravens was blowing out the Titans. 34 to 0. The network switched to the Bronco's - Viking's game.

Did my oil change, fixed the loose clamps, and set the tire pressure. Good to go for a while. I never use a flathead screwdriver on a radiator hose clamp. I always use a 8mm 1/4in socket and ratchet. That way you know they are tight.

You also have to consider expansive soils. I don’t know anything about the soils in the Carolina’s but from the pictures it seemed like he had a basement, which means that foundation is way below the ones he’s building for the extension. Either way, it’s going to settle.

You can always surcharge the virgin soil to force the settlement before you apply the final lid, but that ship has sailed on this project.

Mostly sand & clay where I’m at

We don’t see long freezes,,,hardly ever gets below freezing & stays there all day
