I always feel like I'm laundering money when I buy parts. It got to a point when she said, "just tell me how much you saved".

Now I have a final push to finish the build and she knows it. Told her the only things after this are the expendable items (rotors/pads/tires...)

I think, this is the best way of putting it. "Money Laundering". Next time I'll tell the wife, I'm money laundering.
