The NISMO exhaust is worth it if you want only a mild upgrade in sound, and you buy a used set (they are very often for sale) from a forum member. They usually go used for $300 or $400. Mine was beat and sold it for $130 or so.

Inside the car, you can hear a slightly different, lower-pitched kinda "drone" when you're in the throttle, but outside the car it is just as silent as the standard non-nismo cat back. Please do not expect there to be a noticeable difference in sound if all you are changing is the cat back. Edit: to further emphasize, I had the NISMO OEM CBE on my car with LONGTUBE HEADERS and no cats or anything and at wide open throttle in 4th gear near redline going down a straight, a person sitting 50 feet from the track as I passed could near nothing but tire noise. Seriously. There are videos of this, if proof was really requested.. just trust me, it's comical how silent the car is with this exhaust, while still making good power.
