Looking at FI Exhaust Rattle,

Hey all Im looking at videos on FI exhaust an ive noticed when the car revs up sounds amazing, BUT when he lets off the gas and the motor is on the back side of the revs you can hear it, it sounds like someone is shaking a chain link fense. Can someone tell me if its always like that? if it is that would get on my nerves and might change my mind on what exhaust to get.

It is inevitable on the HR with an aftermarket exhaust. Search exhaust "hiss"

That one being Non resonated helps with the hiss. Happens with every 370z and much worse with test pipes lol.

Ok so let me get this stright, non res makes it worse right? I do want an FI exhaust but I want it loud! I dont want to get resonated if I dont have to.

It's the nature of the VQ beast..

Resonators kill hiss and stuff... Problem is... The more you add the quieter it gets...

So there is no "loud" without "hiss" (on the rev down)

You can have loud without "rasp" or a "tinny" sound, but hiss... You're fúcked...
For SURE keep your stock cats or get THE most expensive cats/TP's you can

I love it because whenever some idiot in a civic or evo or other ricer pulls up next to me and revs, I just come off the gas and they think its a BOV.

They back away then. Muahahahaa...

I agree with the others, the hiss is a cool feature haha.

At first it bothered me, now I like it. It does sounds somewhat like a BOV ha...
