Pricing will be intresting...this will be an in demand product, but how high, eh, probably not that much. Mostly DIY'ers is my guess because shops charge an absorbanate install fee, I have not done a 370 install, but did my 350 headers in my driveway. took me 4 hours with hand tools, in a shop, with a good tech, 2-3 hours tops. I would be willing to spend market price on them, meaning what everyone else is charging, if they try to gouge, forget it, I will put the money towards a blower.

Changing the 350 one might not be as Much of a pita as the 370, since he has said he hasnt done a 370 yet

Sorry, did it...The passenger side on the 370 looks like a breeze, the drivers look similar to the 350. I am slighlty more mechanically inclined that the average diyer, I do all my own work on the car, only thing I do would not atempt is internal engine work, I would just be too mad if I messed something up. If you plan and prepare, have the knowledge and road map of what your are doing, it no sweat. ok, does 4 1/2 sound better? I wasnt explicently monitoring my time to the minute. most said 6-8 hrs on the 350z fourms, all people I know that should not have been attempting it. My hands were also cut to s*&% I have a scar on my right hand from it.

jack the car up- 5 minutes
drop test pipes and y, 10 minutes.
take off intake - 5 minutes
take off steering shaft- 5 minutes
head shields 15-20 minutes ( just break the bolts off, they are not going back on)
about 2 hours to get the darn things off.( had to take off coolant pipe too, this was kind of a pain)
hour to hour an half for complete assembly.
drink 10 beers.

I've done both. They are both exactly the same.

My friend and I put headers on my car last weekend. Took us 4 hours as well but we had a lift. It really wasnt that bad, even got the heatshields out intact. Once the bolts are out of the driverside one, flip it upside down and it comes right out. The only hang up I ran into was that neither o2 sensor would come out of the stock headers and got damaged.

I had an idea the other day. It is a lot faster if you loosen the header bolts a few turn each, then just remove the studs and bolts in one go. You have to take them off on the driver side anyway... Its a lot easier reaching in there with a 1/4 ratchet than it is with non ratchet hand tools... Just an idea

Maybe my header studs were just really loose, but I remember taking them off was really easy with a 1/4 ratchet. I did no even have the tool of the star shape, i just used a small socket that fit over it pretty tight

Man shorties must be way way easier.

We had three people doing the longtubes, didn't change much. It's a long and grueling task that you have to take very slowly if you don't want to muck everything up.
