I know someone has a ECB. Don't tell me I'm going to be the first one to have a write up in a few months.

Turbosmart E-boost 2. Don't rememeber exactly what I paid for it and it took a while for me to figure out how to use it. It does hold boost very accurately and will do boost by gear which was my main reason for purchasing it. Only other option for boost by gear is the HKS IIRC

Can you give ratings on ease of install, use, build quality, and those other things in the first post?

Thanks for sharing. I read a lot on the eboost 2. It looks to be the one to get if your serious. I'm leaning toward the Eboost Street myself. More tamed and "friendly to use." I just don't like the way it looker.

I have the HKS EVC-s.

Build quality is good.
Easy install.
Set up definitely has a learning curve to it.
Reliable and accurate.

Having said all that, I'm replacing it. I'm not ready to say with what though. It will be revealed as my build 2.0 gets underway.

Also, I've heard many good things about the Turbo Smart E-Boost 2.

EVC 5 and 6

Install is straight forward
Setup is a nightmare
Understanding what each setting does takes a higher than university education
5 looks dated, 6 looks nice
Still trying to figure it out after many hours, but when I do I am sure all the features it has will come in hand.

If your the guy who likes to tweak and figure things out on your own then it is a great EBC. If you like to set it and forget it, then forget this one.

Hks evc 6 is great. There is a software and cable option so that you can use a laptop to set it up if you want to get in it deep. But if you don't want to use the boost tables and want to simply just set the boost, you can ignore all the extra stuff and just turn up the main boost setting.

But using the tables is a hassle without the laptop software. The only thing that would make it cooler would be if you could set it up with your smart phone. Or if it wasn't so expensive. But my evc 5 was still going strong after 10 years so I trust it will last.

Ya with the software it's super easy takes 30 seconds to set it up. Then you can switch from your 3 tables on the fly with a single button. So it's as easy or complicated as you make it.

Blitz SBC has a feature for a Hi setting and Lo setting for boost. you can easily choose between the two. Lo for street or Hi for track use.

I quickly glanced at them but too much $$ for my blood. Like I said, I'm leaning towards the TurboSmart E-Boost Street. It is in my price range and look like it 2 settings that you can switch back and forth.

Anyhoo, more reviews please.

-Bought mine used on here, but go for about $475 new.
-Been on my car for a couple months and still using it.
-Holds boost steady; no spikes/tapering off for me. I'm single-turbo using a Turbosmart external wastegate boosting to 10psi daily.
-Install pretty easy...I'd say somewhere on lower half of 1-10 scale. Just a couple components (solenoid/control unit) and OLED display controller to install/mount.
-Pretty easy to use/navigate around after a few minutes of using it..probably lower half of 1-10 scale also.
-Purchased because of great price found used, Greddy name, and research on peoples opinions of it online.
-Not the fanciest/feature-loaded controller out there, but everything is nice and compact. Easy to install and use. Holds boost steady. Good list of features for the price range. Easy to navigate controller. Easy to see fancy OLED display. Super easy to adjust boost while driving with a push of a button and turn of a knob. No regrets here and would buy it again.
-Only thing I'd recommend is maybe a separate boost gauge to cross-check both boost readings.

I have a GFB G - Force 2. I love it. Paid roughly $300 for it. GTM did the install, so I cannot comment on the installation. I haven't played with my bott levels yet, my car was in an accident and is at the shop being rebuilt. Changing the settings seems pretty straight forward though.

I have heard nothing but good reviews from it on various other car platforms and forums.
