Haven't been on much for a few weeks due to work and a few other things. I have an extra block in the garage to be sent to the machine shop. Just waiting for the right time to pull the trigger (probably around fall / winter).
Looks like they're taking good care of the car to make sure nothing is scratched or dinged. Seems like a real reputable shop.

Those fans do not look big enough to power the car. You should probably put the motor back in.

Yes sir they are reputable shop but labour charge is quite expensive (which i dont really care as long as they dont give me any headache) Indeed, I already have aftermarket fans to install that I posted on first post. |

For all those who build the engine, which method you used to break in the engine?
There are over thousands of threads about break in the engine and each one use different method. I came across this method which seems quite interesting.. Quote:
I would love to follow these steps but the problem is I also have to break in the stage 4 transmission which i dont think its a good idea to run it hard because its its not what GTM said on their manual lol Your suggestions will be appreciated |

I agree that the fans are good enough and all it need is better performance radiator but for $400 extra to have massive 14" dual straight blade fans SPAL I think thats a great price/combo for turbo

Not quite sure if either are true but it's interesting to say the least. I'd say to go with what ur builder and tuner recommends. |

I really hope the build keep on going up without any troubles
Funny thing is when today i went there for those pictures i posted earlier, I asked the manager if there is any estimate to finish the car yet. He said 2 weeks. I was kinda shocked and said I got you fully assembled short block and transmission all you have to do is remove and install and other parts like can be installed once you put the engine back. He said "look, this is not the case here, I can install your whole project in 2 days and send you a text msg to come pick up the car. but we have to clean every single part in long block with fuel and other materials and check all the timing chain if they need to be replaced or not. Additional to that, he will send the Heads to machine shop for redecking, inspect and clean etc etc.." Lol i just said okay take your time and kept my mouth shut LOL |
