I just find it funny, you guys are entitled to your own opinions, but reading the two threads i really find it funny that the only difference between the 2 (other than differences between the kits, and number of orders) is one gave out a wrong date and one didn't give out any. You guys can say whatever you want i'm not gonna stop you. I know i personally would think it sucks but that's how it goes sometimes, hell i waited the better part of a year for my berk cat back from their group buy, and i just dealt with it because that's how this goes sometimes, the FI GB is going the same way sometimes delays come up, or problems arise, or they decide to make improvements, all i see as a difference is bad forecasting, same thing happened in the berk GB, in the end the company came through, shipped us all our stuff months late, sorted out the problems, and the people that got out had to rebuy it at full price while i stayed in and got my exhaust for 800 or 900 dollars and i had it before them anyway. The only guys who weren't upset that they cancelled were the ones who actually just changed there minds and wanted to go with a different exhaust and bitched about the deadline so they could get a refund.

How safe is this kit on an automatic?

Being gone made it a forced wait. But I'll say when I got home and had to wait one more month, my patience was wearing. Having said that, now that I have her back and see the whole finished product, it was worth every dollar, every hour, and every late email response. I seen so many nodded cars lose what made them great from half assing installs, buying $hitty parts, not researching, and just plain going too far. In the few weeks I had mine, pulleys don't squeal (one did for a few days and went away), starts instantly, not rattles, no power spikes or dips, no funny sounds, the car is doing exactly what it's supposed to do; drive like a Z with way more power. I haven't driven in a turbo Z but if anyone is in the ATL area willing to let me ride shotgun, I am down

A lot of people say the same thing. But the excitement for me is gone. I don't care if it was delivered last week. The joy is finally gone as of this past weekend. I know this would of been a flawless perfectly finished kit but there's no way that could remotely make me feel better about it. I'm literally depressed about it. To type this seems so pointless.

Come tonight I'm going to do some serious thinking and tomorrow is most likely it for me. Even if I had in my hands I'm looking at three weeks to be up and running.

Buck up, buckaroo!

I went a year without driving mine. It's worth it in the end.

That's the point. It's not in my eyes. My car is strictly a track car now with no enjoyment on the street most likely. I've bucked up several times. I don't even have parts to go back NA.

That sucks, it looks like you will have to keep pushing through then. I got in on this group buy because a friend of mine wanted to buy my Stage 1.5 SC back in June. He swore up and down that he was going to get it no matter what. Then he got injured and stopped working. No job for him= no on hand buyer for the SC. This happened after I paid for my TT kit in full, 1000ID injectors, pistons, rods, GTM fuel return kit, Elec boost controller, PTP turbo blankets, and a bunch of other s**t. Talk about a lesson learned I have thought about selling my parts i already bought back a few times because my stage 1.5 SC works great, but in the end I'll always be thinking about what could have been. I do have my limits as well, and I can fully understand where you are coming from. My best suggestion for the short is pick up another hobby or project until GTM finally delivers.

I don't understand when everyone says "I waited a year but then it was worth it". It's like ur ok with getting screwed over and are finding ways to apologize for it?
Wish I could tell my Amex bill the same thing.

stop being ok with what isn't right.

Point is ur not getting screwed over your expectations are to high its a group buy for a massive amount of complicated to produce kits there are bound to be delays. OMFG they are taking as long as FI and they are making 5x the quantity. NO ONE would be upset if they hadn't said when they probably honestly thought they would be done.

Like i said **** happens dude, it's tough but get real. I blew my motor in 2010 and it took nissan 2 months to ship a short block to my dealer. After taking 2 months to tell my they would replace it.

I don't think it's the delays that are causing the tension, its the communication. The reason no one in the other threads is upset is because the vendor communicates with the masses.

Check out the pattern here. Everyone gets temperamental, GTM communicates, everyone is excited and forgiving. The problem is, GTM hasn't logged on to this forum in 11 days. Other vendors respond within hours at most.

If a vendor is hosting a group buy with a gross value well over half a million dollars, the least they could do is spend the 5 minutes required to update the customer. A very large portion of the customers would be content with the delays as long as they knew what was causing them and had some visibility to the process. I know multiple people personally that have backed out of this group buy and cited communication failures as the reason.

That was a little harsh on my part dont mean to offend anyone its my opinion and you certainly dont even have to read it.

I would say i hope GTM doesn't run into any more delays and they can ship on time with their new schedule as i am sure they are also upset things haven't gone to plan.

I wish some of you stop acting as everyone should feel or have the same emotions as your selves. Everyone takes things in different strides.
