Haha, that manifold does look good. I'm gonna sell the GTM SC and see what the GTM MHI TT Kit and E85 will do.

COSMO 07-31-2013 08:07 PM

Anyone have any issues contacting gtm lately? I have sent several emails on possibly ordering a 3' exhaust but have yet to hear anything back. It has been weeks now and still no response...

If your trying to get Sam it's hard. He is a very busy guy. Puts in lots of hours. Same for Mike. But he's your best bet at info@gtmpower.com. But give him a day to a day and half for response. Mike deals with a lot of people and invoice orders daily.

COSMO 07-31-2013 10:35 PM

Actually I have been emailing sam. I only hope you guys who just ordered this kit have better luck than me and I've paid almost twice as much...

Hotrodz 07-31-2013 10:39 PM

Yup...I sent him an email a week or so ago and still have not heard back either. I know they are working on a lot of stuff and there are probably 3X the enquiries than just us folks anxiously awaiting for updates and the final product. It's just like waiting for Christmas when I was 9, it never came fast enough!

Dzel 07-31-2013 10:40 PM

With the GTR manifold coming out I don't think their response time is going to get any better after the kits are shipped

I've never had any luck communicating with GTM through email. Every time I've picked up the phone and called them I've gotten right through to Sam or Mike. You might have better luck that way.

I totally agree with you Mike is always there to talk when I call.

Totally agree. Email is very easy to ignore, a ringing phone is not. I put off answering emails every single day and probably receive half as many as Mike and Sam.

I have called twice from here in Aus and both times Mike has been happy to chat away for 20+ mins, answering all questions.

G37sHKS 08-01-2013 10:36 AM

Yep, Mike@GTM is a good guy to talk with.. He knows everything and will answer any questions you have.

SPOHN 08-01-2013 10:57 AM

Mike defiantly a big part of the backbone there.

COSMO 08-01-2013 03:31 PM

Dammit spohn your laying it on heavy again with gtm... Maybe he's prepping for some kind of Internship, lol ...!!!!!!!!

SPOHN 08-01-2013 04:43 PM

I support people that help me. What can I say.

COSMO 08-01-2013 05:30 PM

At this point I just want to finish this project but it seems a 3 inch exhaust is near impossible to get. For you guys going with the 3'gtm downpipes be aware this will not work with any of the 2 1/2 exhaust unless you have an exhaust shop weld in a reducer. The flanges will not mate up due to the difference in size and the bolt holes.. I love my gtm kit and praise gtm for all of their hard work put into this kit btw...( I know Iam no where near as good as spohn with the brown nosing but I am sincere)....

Dzel 08-01-2013 05:35 PM

Wouldn't it be pointless to get 3' downpipes just to reduce it to 2.5? At the same time would it be beneficial if it was the other way around say 2.5 to 3"

Where did you see that the exhaust flanges will not line up?

It may not be a smooth transition, but I believe you can bolt any exhaust to the 3in DP.

COSMO 08-02-2013 04:28 AM

I saw it on my own car or I wouldn't be posting to others to save them time and money...

It's good to see people trying to assist other members with info that is not readily available like fitment when they have real world experience.
Thank you!

It depends on the exhaust/ flanges. I have a Greddy TI-C which is a 70mm or 2 3/4''. I'm not positive but a friend of mine that has experience with GTM kits and has done several lately that in my case the 3'' downpipes will work with the Greddy kit unless GTM hs done something different lately. If not I'll make it work. I know in the 350Z days there were tons of GTM TT kits with Greddy TI-C exhaust combo's.

airikrankin 08-02-2013 08:27 AM

are the ext wastegates open dump with the 3" downpipes? considering asking gtm if it were possible to get the ext wastegates withouth the 3" downpipes.

It can be open or recirculated depending on what you want.

To me it seems the EWG only come with the 3'' downpipes and not the 2.5'' downpipes.

I know there are a lot of people that are eager and anxious to get their hands on this upcoming and amazing product. Believe me when I say that there is no one more eager than us to deliver. This kit and its price point, quality and value did not really happen by coincidence or luck. A lot of planning and big investments had to be made to offer it. Unfortunately, we are still waiting on some of the components to be ready so we can start the packaging process. Here is a video of one of the machines that was added to our line up of CNC equipment to even make producing 100 turbo kits possible. The machine has been in our possession for the last 8 months and it took 6 months just to get the tooling ready for it. Finally, we are sending our engineer and machine operators for training so this baby can get busy. This machine is easily capable of producing 100 pipes per day with multiple compound bends that don't require any cutting or welding. This is one of the reasons we can offer this kit at such a great price. Not only can this machine do intercooler pipes, but it will also enable us to produce our exhaust systems at a much better price point as well as on the shelf at all times.

So rest assured we are working tirelessly on bringing this product to market as quickly as humanly possible. Enjoy the video.

G37Sam 08-02-2013 07:20 PM

Sam that was just impressive!!! I'm sure it would require someone real skillful to operate it or whatever CAD software/G Code is behind it.

SPOHN 08-02-2013 08:06 PM

What are the components that are awaiting?

COSMO 08-02-2013 08:16 PM

An application from you so you can get out there and speed up the process...:icon18::icon18:
Hope to see some exhaust in stock soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job GTM, very smart investing that money back into the company for something that will make even more money with less effort...
