We ran about an hour ago. Wheel hop was atrocious! Cut a 2.0 60 FT.

Went 11.99 @125.90 Too much tire pressure and launched a little high.

In the lanes ready to go again. I guess we are not booted as of yet...

There goes my hope that drag radials will fix my horrible wheel hop issue.

Also, are you using the fuse trick to do burnouts?

We were able to get a few 1.7 60 fts out of the car. At the end of the day though this car would fly with a live axle read end. This IRS is clearly not ideal for drag racing.

The fuse fix, absolutely did it! You also need to do the burnout in 2nd gear. This will eliminate the wheel hop there.

Do you happen to know which fuse it is? Like which number? I have never pulled it, but need to.

So you do the burnout in 2nd gear? No bogging issue with that sticky rubber?

Even if we don't get booted we are smiling all the way home. 11.4 on 9 psi is more than acceptable. Broke the stock block record by almost three tenths of a second. Stock suspension and heavy 19" rims (up front) getting drug down the strip.

Want to get a few more passes in where it sits. Probably wont turn the boost up. Smarter to play it safe than sorry! Think she has got an 11.3 in her the way she sits. Currently sitting in the stageing lanes waiting out turn.
