It kinda pisses you off when you can't match the top end of the station wagons and sedans.

Hence the need to FI

thanks for the input guys. all I know is FI helps make your car go faster but my knowledge ends there. I've been reading this forum for days trying to figure out whats best and have a lot of new knowledge but no direction to go in.

I think I should TT but then there are arguments for the Single set up.

Lol audi station wagon 130 mph I would love to take my car out there.

A bigger oil cooler will help for sure you might have to run two if your going to be doing those kind of speeds all the time.

Can you post videos??? How does the car feel at 165MPH?!?!?!

Honestly, you need a larger, or 2 larger oil coolers, and I'd recommend a different front bumper, maybe the Amuse, Stillen or Nismo to allow more airflow. The stock bumper blocks A LOT of the surface area of the cooling apparatuses.

Got to love the Pa. turnpike. The only place that posted your speeding fine along side of the road. If you're going this fast, this is your fine.

The first time I topped it out my A$$hole puckered up pretty good. With all the crazies on the road that just pull out into your lane you have to be looking about 1/4 mile in front of you all the time.

The car felt real good I got Whiteline Sways and I that helped a lot. But I Can hit A7 north from the A6 and not take my foot off the gas through any of the curves on the Autobahn. I want to get the NISMO boddy stiffeners and the KW V3 as well to make it that much better but 130-145 doesn't feel bad at all. If/when I was stateside it was actually way to comfortable. I did Boise, Idaho to Las Vegas down I95 in about 7.5 hours. I only got 1 $400 dollar ticket but I didn't go to jail.

I've hit the speed limiter twice here in Mexico. There's only one road that I've dared do this though (it's a concrete road, most of it very straight)
The car has plenty of cabin noise at low speeds as it is. This is augmented exponentially once you hit the limiter. It sounds kind of scary actually.

I found that the trick to hitting 160 Mph on that road is not to shift to sixth too early (i found myself running out of road too early if i did this)
I could only hold the top speed for about 10-12 seconds before i have to slow down.

Now, with that said... the roads here are TERRIBLE for the Z. That is one of the very few bump-free roads here. When i'm on other roads even doing 75 MPH seems like life or death because of how bumpy the roads are. I don't like how easily the car gets unsettled by those bumpy roads at all.
I feel much safer going fast on those roads on pretty much any other car with a softer suspension.
Now, when i'm in the U.S. the car feels completely different. The road from El Paso to Dallas is completely flat and straight. I'm pretty sure i would have no problem at all hitting the speed limiter there and probably holding it for quite a bit too. But of course this is something i'm never even going to attempt and risk getting a ticket or worse.

But back to the bumpy roads of Mexico for a bit... do you guys think that some quality coilovers would help the car feel more settled on bumpy roads? Because like i said, even at low speeds (70-80mph) the car can feel unsafe at those speeds, I pretty much feel safer on my GF's Juke or my mom's A4 at even higher speeds than that because of how much better they deal with the bumps on those roads.

On another note. It always surprises me how people in the US complain that their roads suck (compared to Europe's), the ones in Texas are pretty damn good. Maybe they do suck in other states?
