with your install!

At 50% the car is already pulling and you just see that tach and your MPH climbing nicely. Going through the gears is not a issue at all while on it. Honestly I think they are going in easier then what they did before i did the kit. Also looking at my boost controller that I have set to 7.6 psi, the boost comes fast, it is like I am instantantly there and it holds. I have had no over boost warning or any issues of that sort. I also do not hear the waste gates chattering or anything. The BOV while driving the car normally are very quit but when you romp on it and let go they make a very nice sound and it is pretty loud. The tune is good. other then the shop said it was a little conservative and that it wasn't pulling timing as much as it could. I talked to SAM about this and were going to wait and see what it does with the boost controller. I know he said he was going to work on the new tune for me but I am in no rush for it. The car is running great and the power feels awsome. So what leaves to the issue was me. I had a exhaust leak at the header and that was causing issues.

Thanks for all your intrest everyone if you have any more questions, keep them coming I would be glade to answer everyones and to help put peoples mind at ease if they want to get one but are a little scared since are cars are new.

Frank, that is awesome! Those are the numbers I was expecting from your session today. Just wait until you wake up on a 50 degree morning and the tires roll over in second just because the boost comes up.

Wow, that is really impressive for the stock clutch to hold that kind of power. Great build thread, I can't wait to see this beast up and running!

She is up and running lol. I been driving here everyday for the last 2 weeks that way I can report back on how it is as a DD. My poor DD though has been just sitting in the street for the last 2 weeks though lol. Let me know if you have any questions would be glade to answer them.

No problem. Do you have time to take some snapshots and footage? How easy is it to break loose when flooring it in 2nd, 3rd, etc. while rolling? I want to make sure I can handle a little bit of fishtail haha... I'm currently running 285 Hankook for the rear.

Yea I can take some just ket me know what you want. In 2nd and 3rd I find it easy to slide the rear if I get careless and slame it but its not like it is uncontrolable. Like I said the power is noticable but smooth. I think this is the best way I can describe it. Hope that answers it.

Awesome. Yea I'm very much sold on the GTM kit and eager to get everything done, but it'll probably Spring '11. With GTM working on Bullitt's car with the VR38 intake manifold, I'm hoping they'll be able to get it working and offer a retrofit kit. Chris@FsP has the VR38 intake manifold at his shop.
