Also think it's cool as heck you are sharing the complete build. That's exactly what I'm doing with my LS thread on this forum too. Someone will pick out useful bits of information, and that's awesome.
No failsafe that you can write for lifting the heads. LOL It goes into the chit happens box.

I am leaning toward keeping my existing turbo's and upgrading my trans to hold more abuse. My trans has been on borrow time for a long long time. LOL, I almost forgot about the stock drive shaft. Need one of those too.

I need to do something with the trans before it eats itself. More like explodes. LMAO

The thing with an MLS headgasket is when the heads start lifting they will seal back up. They will gradually get worse and worse, then boom. If you have a pressurized coolant system you have somewhere for the coolant to go and when done it will be sucked back into the engine via the return. You will never know it until it goes boom. I was lucky this time. I caught it way before then.

I have been looking at GTR forums trying to figure out how they are getting as much WHP out of their cars with smaller turbos. The only thing I really see is they are running massive intercoolers. 6in. deep cores and 3in piping. How the heck are they making those smaller turbos work?

Most likely. You'll twist the input shaft into 2 pieces and then over rev the motor.

Have you installed a driveshaft loop yet?

No, it is not a 1/4 mile drag car and I do not launch it. If I did the input shaft would break.

They all run 4.5 inch intercooler cores if you look up the specs for any of the race intercoolers that's the thickness. They also run 3.5 inch intakes to the turbos 3.0-3.5 inlets from the intercooler to throttle bodies and 3.5 inch twin down pipes. They rarely run small A/R on the turbine side and choke them. This is why there are so many of them riding around with 800 plus WHP on pump 93 they have been doing this for years.

I'm not sure what you are doing for an ECU, but I know you can 100% monitor that with MS3Pro and a Rife combo sensor (pressure and temp). Then a trigger can be set to take your car to limp mode of your choosing. If you currently don't have that functionality then you may have found a great reason to upgrade.

A pressure sensor only tells you when they lift. It won't prevent it. Once they lift, they keep getting worse and worse with a MLS. No combo of ECU will prevent it. Once it is done, it is done.
