Are you building your 7AT trans, or is it already built?

No, Seb it should hold fine since it's a Vortech and power builds as opposed to something like turbo. I am adding a trans cooler and large lines though.

Its been pretty proven that the tuner has a HUGE hand in how long the tranny is going to hold for you. I dont think you can top Sebs in this department.

Yes, the centrifugal SC's are by far the kindest to a tranny, and motor for that matter. The torque eases in as linearly as naturally aspirated and do not slam in all at once like turbo's or Positive displacement superchargers (Whipples, Eatons, etc...)

This is why on the ford raptor superchargers you have to upgrade the oil pump to a billet one with the Whipple kit but you can leave it alone with the Vortech since it doesnt jolt the internals.

Looking at this kit and the power its gives, this will prbably be the route I take when building up my Z. I did want to ask a few questions to help clarify a few things. I would want the car to last as long as possible, with the improved power, was wondering what parts you would suggest. I have seen threads where you lose power with specific upgrades, so looking for a more concrete suggestion on what parts will result in power gains instead of lose.

Transmission: Should it be upgraded before?
Fuel Pump: 340lb+
ECU: Ecutek with the Omni MAP sensor
Motor: Should it be built to help preserve its life or would the motor withstand the power increase without being built? Regardless what upgrade to the motor would you suggest for maximum gains with this kit?
Oil Cooler: Read somewhere that after 2014, newer oil coolers were pre-installed. Should these still be changed out?

I am probably missing a few things, so if there is anything else that would be recommended to upgrade before installing the kit, please let me know.

Thanks!

How much are you looking at then for a full kit shipped to the UK?

Will it still be plug and play ?

I would direct you to a U.S. 3rd party to handle international shipping/customs and I would ship to them for free.

This is a tuner kit so it will not come with fueling and a canned tune out of the box. But, those are worthless anyway. You can remote tune with Sebs from Specialty Z.

If you have MT then you are good to go since it holds more max TQ naturally than AT, so no need to upgrade it.
If you have AT then your limit on a stock AT according to RJM id ~450lb TQ safely, anything past that is risking it.

I say get better and more sticky tires for the rear IMHO, and an LSD (quaife or wavetrac your choice), and really good suspension such as a set of KW-V3s.

Thats my opinion at least.

The MT will not hold over 400tq for very long. It wont even hold under 400 with aggressive driving so to say "your good to go" is not very accurate. You will need to upgrade to the HD CSC also as that is a ticking timebomb.

If you have the sport or nismo model then you already have a LSD.

I assume you are referring to the clutch limitations and not the actual transmission. No one has found the limit of the MT yet. There are guys running well over 800whp on it with no issues. The clutch on the other hand will need to be upgraded.
