Topgunz - air to air upgrade

Should I run straight pipes with this kit (short tails and test pipes) like I currently am, or should I throw on another aftermarket axleback to create some back pressure?

I just ran across this article yesterday. It should be a sticky. You don't want back pressure, and what you have should be good if you're ok with the sound. From my research, FI and cats just don't work very well. Unless, you have BIG cats, or maybe break them in correctly, or maybe the Fast Intentions Mil Spec cats? In general though, I think most recommend no cats with any form of FI.

This explains back pressure v/s scavenging and why some incorrectly assume back pressure = more HP.

I'm running the Fast Intentions CBE along with their resonated TP and Mil Spec cats. I am not having any issues with lost boost. I'm still getting 9psi with my setup using the Vortec 2.95 pulley and the A2A system.
