Well, you definitely made better numbers. Picking up +50wtq is a lot.
I think you need to just go find a DynoJet and make a pull to 7500 to really see where your at. Also, tell them to T in a boost reference. |
I'm going to try and run it on the drag strip on wednesday and check by times first haha. Curious how much closer to the 11s I can get with this trq increase.
|
It seems like this kit helps a lot with the TQ numbers, I gained about 55 wtq.
Sebz from speciality z is down in Canada now, im on the dyno on Thursday. |
^^^^ He is, he just got on a plane, I was talking to him about traction control settings for the auto's :) Justin" Milkcow500" has this already!! ;)

Also, I can't wait to see what you get with e85, since I'll practically be running a similar setup. The SC kit I purchased had the upgraded impeller, though. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk |
Yes, I have the 7AT. I didn't do a full transmission upgrade like some other people have done. All I did was the Level Ten torque converter/valve body and the Fast Intentions flex plate.
I'm still waiting on EVO's results with that impeller before deciding which one to go with. Didn't have time to tweak my RR TC or find out my max boost yet, but I'll find out during this week. |

Test pipes/stock headers. I know I'm losing some boost there, but my cats blew so fast I didn't want to keep replacing them.

Another forum member that bought a kit off me here just blew his Cats up too so is replacing them when he puts the A2A on.

Hope this work well for me, I wanna try to hit the track Friday, now I have the KR thing in check and Seb's updated tune, Time to go back with the headers, Throttle HI jack and TC control :), Wanna be the first NA sedan(AWD) in the 12's! |
I haven't had any transmission issues as of yet that I know of. I'm on my 3rd tuner now and I can say that Seb blows them all out of the water.
The base map that he made for me had some rough shifting, but 2 flashes into adjusting the line pressure and it's par/better than my previous EcuTek tune. You can only feel the shifts/rev matching if you are hard on the pedals. If you are light on them for daily driving, you can feel a smidgen or nothing at all. The best thing that I noticed was this really odd delay/lag I used to have on both my previous Uprev/EcuTek dyno tunes. This would happen right before the throttle kicks in, so it was very annoying and sometimes dangerous because I would get no response for 1-2 FULL seconds. These were the conditions: Gas -> let off gas -> Get back on gas -> DELAY -> throttle kicks in Gas -> Brake -> Get back on gas -> DELAY -> throttle kicks in Parts + install at Level Ten were about $1500. The billet flex plate was about $1200 for parts + install. I only did the flex plate because of all the horror stories I heard. |
Yeah Seb really does go above and beyond for his customers. Never had a tuner as good as he is. And someone who gets back to you the same day?! lol He is the man for sure. Yeah I have 5 maps set up with the RR TC on 3 of them, and the launch hack on 2. The launch hack is usually on his map #4 but I had him add it to my #2 map also. To answer your question, just because it has your RR TC on a map doesn't mean it has the launch hack also. If you are on a map with the RR TC enabled, you can literally adjust the traction with the cruise up and down and it will hijack your oil temp and show the slip amount. Higher number being more assist and lower number being less. I believe it starts in the middle at 50% until you manually adjust it. I have M/T's so this feature isn't as important to me but the launch hack helps out a ton.

Yea man I have a auto(AWD) so he told me o look at the racerom field on the map log, I can just drive with my laptop plug into the car. It's only on my map1 guessing a base test map, but if he get this and the launch hack I'm defiantly going the track Friday! I see if I can crack into the 12's :)
