@ Bruclidat.... You are in a 7AT. When you stomp on the pedal its going to downshift and put you at an instant 5 or 6 psi anyways! Your back end will get squirrely and you will smile.

Not seb. Thats the beauty of the sc. Its so smooth and predictable.

HOWEVER, i just got off the phone with Seb about my new kit

Again @ Brucelidat...My new kit will come with the Si impeller already installed if you think its worth waiting for.

I'm running stock gearing and what I have noticed is that the SC starts to build boost at about 3Krpm. When cruising at ~80mph the BOV flutters a little and the boost gauge is showing 0psi which means that the SC is supplying more air than the engine needs at 3Krpm. So, if you drive mildly and shift before 3K you won't notice much difference with the exception of the ECUTEC tune which gives you a hyper throttle response (which makes the car feel much more responsive to the throttle). So if you want to go fast make sure you are in the upper rpm range where the SC can push some air. I have also noticed that the rpm drops by 1.5K rpm from each gear change so if you are shifting at redline your next gear up the engine will be right at 6K which is still making a lot of HP.

Anyway you look at it BOOST will put a big grin on your face and lay some rubber on the road!

Well, I'd have to see what's what when your kit comes out. DO you have an actual company or anything? It's kind of iffy, no offense, to drop 6.5k on a new kit form an individual on the forums. If Seb says it's good, though, that would go a long for reassurance. He's my tuner who has done almost all the work on my car.

When do you think it will happen? I'm in no rush, going to have surgery soon, then I won't even be able to drive for a while since I'll be one-armed for at least a month.

I have sold about 40 A2A kits and have never had a complaint I didn't resolve immediately. From what I know, there are 40 satisfied customers out there.

As the kit develops it will build confidence. Once I post the first dyno and price, it should sell quick.

I will have an official business license before selling them so I am registered with the BBB.

brucelidat 04-26-2017 02:54 PM

Okay, sounds good, let me know if there's an initial discount or group buy or anything. It would be nice to not have to buy a Stillen kit then make a bunch of changes. Seb is super respected in this community, if you get him recommending it, it will make a big difference.

TBatt 04-26-2017 02:59 PM

TopgunZ is a very honest guy. I wouldn't hesitate to buy his kit. I've been working with him for the past year and he is very good at what he does.

Topz is gonna put still out of business... or, at least, ruin their 370z SC sales.

Its not hard to do down the road after its installed. Its just 4 bolts to take the SC out, then send it off.

The sucky thing is paying for a re-tune. So if you can get your tuner to give free or cheap updates to the tune then it wouldnt be bad.

acorona370 04-27-2017 08:45 AM

Whats the average turn around time to get it done?
and cost?
