The one thing about the vq engine, no two are a like. Mine is a torque monster, she won't be dialed back so I can make more horsepower. I'm at 604whp and 550ish on torque. That is burning e85 and before ecutek I was 556whp and 552tq on 100 octane. My tuner had to stop because he couldn't keep the torque down and as bullitt said.... torque kills engines.

Actually it is the opposite...the tuner has more control over timing and vvel parameters with EcuTek than UpRev and that is why the best tuners perfer Ecutek.

Mark's car made 583 in 4th gear and here is the 5th gear pull. I'm also at 86% duty cycle with the 1000cc and no fuel return. Timing is very low on this tune. Also the vehicle was tuned in 4th gear and cleaned up in 5th. The 4th gear run is always smoother and looks the best on a dyno graph.:

Sounds fair enough to me. Tomorrow when I get to work I will have to double check my dyno graphs but I believe I made 586 at 9.5psi in 4th gear on a dynojet... Been a while so I need to confirm. That was e85 but it was also really conservative timing versus when I made 671 at 12psi (4th again) using even more timing at the higher boost.
The dyno above doesn't display rpm but based on where the hp and torque meet it appears to have full boost around 2700-2900rpm? Is this using an inertia dynojet 248 or a brake dyno?
