Aftermarket tow hook vs OEM advice

I made a tow hook from billet alumnum on a lathe and just added a standard D ring from eBay on the end of it.... Don't plan on using it

Rep Power: 40183	I made a tow hook from billet alumnum on a lathe and just added a standard D ring from eBay on the end of it.... Don't plan on using it other than for show. I keep the steel one in the trunk for emergencies. The D ring is indeed set with a screw but I keep it fairly loose.
