Disagree
Adding something as simple as the OEM sport front chin spoiler is functional, so it's not that farfetched to think adding a few inches of lip isn't going to alter the way air moves in front of the car. As with anything related to aerodynamics though, it depends a lot on when it becomes functional. Stationary or street driving, not so much. Full speed at a track, different story. Certainly some spoilers are more effective than others, but they are fuctional to a degree. Air has a lot of substance going 100 mph, it doesn't take much to direct or redirect that air flow. Just look at something as minor as a mirror on a rally car for example. For most of us that will never likely see a track however, a lip spoiler purely cosmetic with the potential to be something functional... same goes for the rear spoiler.

It doesn't go below the front air dam. At stock height, I haven't scraped mine at all. Clears all speedbumps I have encountered. I'll scrape the front air dam well before the splitter.

I think the fujimura looks good but would like to have a spoiler available that was a little cleaner like the one i horribly chopped.
