NMJAXX9 Yea at night they bleed light just as much as if they were not smoked. I thought the same thing when i saw them. It looks sick at night. You should def. smoke yours. Also they are painted not tinted. On my 350z i had bluebatmoble tint which is a great product, but switched it up and went with paint. Also removing the thrid brake light on the 370z is not easy, it very easy to break. There is DIY third brake light removal on the forum that helped me alot.Good luck

IC, yeah I dont want to paint them because of the permanent issue, if i get pulled over, and ticketed I can peel it off if its a vinyl but with the paint...im screwed. I thought yours was vinyl, but it looks good regardless! I think ill go back to Manny, the guy who did my windows he said he smokes taillights also (with vinyl)

^ Got a good point there. I havn't had any trouble yet. "Knock on wood" Post a pic of the vinyl if you get it done, I'd like to see the turn out.

I think you will get pulled over for the windows before you will the tails.. I got snagged twice in my silver 370 with 20% all the way around and 38% on the windshield.

Nah thats why I made sure to go legal on the sides (35%) in CT, and the back window can be as dark as u want, and u cant tint the windshield but most cops approach you from the back of your vehicle, so my assumption is the windshield wont be an issue either, where as the taillights will be one of the more noticeable things a cop would see when he pulls you over, and I had a buddy who got pulled over when I was in the car with him for smoked lights, and he had them painted, he had to spend a week sanding and scrubbing the paint off cuz he got a fix it ticket, ended up ruining his taillights and had to replace them. All in all it was a hassle and big PITA

So i speak from experience

I did 3m ceramic cm 50 all around incl windshield. 50% is plenty dark enough and the heat block is unbelievable. All around was $650 with a lifetime warranty.

Im getting mine done this weekend at 20% all around, no windshield, but in CT, you can in fact do a strip on your windshield. I got pulled over like 10 years ago for tints (20%) and the cop had a light meter. The front wasnt the problem...

20% will be very dark. I have 35% all around and the first thing a cop did when I got pulled over was to run to the windshield. I drive around with an eye doc note - swan dive

Well, i dont really think 20% is toooo dark, i just know i feel 35% is too light... Its a toss up. Hopefully since I last got pulled over for tinted windows (10 yrs ago), the cops have lightened up a bit haha.

Yeah but getting a sun strip and tinting the Whole windshield, which is what I did is two different things. A sun strip shouldn't be a problem, but if you live around the middletown hartford area, especially up by Storrs, cops will fine you hard for a windshield being tinted, either way I took my chances.

Oh i see what you are saying. Yea i just meant the sun strip... Ill post back after my tint is done this weekend with pics and then again after i get pulled over lol.
