OK, so after more thought, since I NEVER turn off VDC, I could use that switch (with a relay and appropriate gauge wire) to bypass the clutch switch. That way,

OK, so after more thought, since I NEVER turn off VDC, I could use that switch (with a relay and appropriate gauge wire) to bypass the clutch switch. That way, when I start, just wriggle *neutral* then press VDC switch and Start button simultaneously. Voila' start!, with no wear and tear on the CSC thingy. And, if I need to return to stock nothing is done to the car that anyone could ever see.
