Oil pump replacement or Oil pump Gear

IMO, Way over kill for a street setup. If you really want I think an oil pressure gauge would serve you better. The stock oil pump is known to fail

IMO,

Way over kill for a street setup. If you really want I think an oil pressure gauge would serve you better. The stock oil pump is known to fail above 8K RPM quickly. It's also likely if running at high rpms for an extended periods like may track rats do, which if you're doing on the street are more likely to crash then have the oil pump fail.

The stock oil light really won't save your motor if there is a sudden loss of pressure and gauge will cover you for all losses of pressure not just the pump itself. Not to mention much cheaper. But if you have money to burn then do both! And get Gale's gauge pod it's amazing.

If getting an oil pressure gauge. Have to get one that reads to 150 psi. Cold idle and high rpm will read over 110 psi.
