Boundary Engineering makes just the gear. Keep in mind if you do it properly and get a new OEM pump to put it in you're close to the price of the Suckerpuch oil pump, and with that you get a billet backing plate for extra strength as well.

Boundary Engineering gears are up for $400 and a new OEM pump is less than $200, so it's almost half of the Suckerpunch setup. Don't get me wrong, Suckerpunch's product is top of the line, I'm sure, just a little overkill from what I need.

I do have a question, though: How easy is a DIY gear replacement for the OEM oil pump? and are there any special tools required?

I'm looking at doing this whenever I do the gallery gaskets.

Thanks guys!

But if you add another $300 for the Boundary Engineering billet housing, you aren't far off from the SuckerPunch setup cost
