No, they don't use the same oil from the factory.

GTR calls for M1 0W40 (European Version). And GTR comes with a real oil cooler.
Our car's default fill is just whatever 5w30.

Don't worry about your oil temperature if you are just commuting. Our car has the same 3.7 V6 as a bundle of other Infiniti models that don't even come with oil temp gauge. G37, Q50 3.7, FX37/QX70, M37/Q70....

Thanks for the replies..again I know the cars run hot. I am just trying to make sure there is nothing wrong with my car this early in the game. From feedback I have gotten it seems like I'm running too hot for the temp/load I'm putting on the vehicle. I spoke with a fellow Z Nismo owner and he said he only sees 220 after doing b2b 0-60 runs. Im at about 1k miles..not sure if there is still some increased friction since its so new which will level off after the car is fully broken in.

Again guys, Im definitely not complaining here..its just hard not to have questions when you shell out 40k and are not out of break in yet...
