It depends on how much you damaged the block when you spun the bearing. You won't know for sure until you tear it down. A cast iron block from back in The Good Old Days could take a lot of abuse; not so much a newer Aluminum block.
In any case, I'd have the head inspected while you have it off. Same for the crank, manifolds, oil pump, &c. If you're going to the trouble and expense of a rebuild, why take a chance on using warped, worn, or otherwise defective parts?
