You can take it off yourself before it goes to save some $$ IF you got the time mechanical skill and some tools. In my situation I had to pay because the issue now is there's nothing really left of the center pulley to use a common pulley extractor so it can get a little more complicated like in my case. There are a few threads on here on how to install a pulley IF not Youtube's your best friend
