Final price will depend on how many are sold.
The more sold the lower the price I can do on the first batch. The DE gears run about $550, but I only sale them as a full pump setup at $800. This a full modified pump, not just a stock pump. With the VHR, we will use existing pumps to keep cost down, as the pumps themselves are around $250. If you want a new pump, then that can be done as well. Otherwise, we can modify the existing pump and just put the gears and back plate on. Tenitively the gears will be around the same as the DE (will work to make these lower, but a good bit will need to be sold), and the back plate around $170. Jeremiah |

Are the modified Vq3.7 pumps the only pumps compatible with this? GT-R compatible?

I haven't looked at a GT-R oil pump to be able to give you that answer. If I can get my hands on a pump, then I'd be able to further investigate. If not the same, and gears are an issue, then I guess I'd be looking at making those as well.

On the DE/revup, a stock pump only held 3" of vaccum. This out of the box, never opened. After modifying the pump, just the pump, we were able to hold around 18-20" of vaccum. That's a 600% increase of stock. Along with the other mods we do, there was an increase of flow for about 8-10 %, all this helping with cavatation at higher rpms.
The gears, the only thing different is the material and another process we use to make the gears stronger. While I haven't tested the VHR yet, I don't see why we cant replicate what we did with the DE. I hate to put it like this, but you can buy a nismo, know that they fail, and be out of pocket $1400. If not, you can go with our pump, save money and at least get the same performance if not better, and have billet gears and a billet back plate. We are using a Nismo pump as our base, to make this an even closer comparison, not just a regular VHR pump. |

Can I use the billet gears and back plate if I already have the Nismo pump?
