it has happened to other Canadian models as well. sinceday1 - I would think the dealerships would only replace it if it has broken/failed. Wouldn't make sense for them to be replacing parts that are still working. Also the other guys are correct you can source the steering lock from the states for around $500. No way I would pay a Canadian dealer $1100! They can go fly a kite
