Calipers have weird "stuff" on them...

What did you wash the wheels with? Some of the washs out there will stain if you don't rinse it good.

That's what I am thinking MIGHT have happened... Can't remember if they were like that when I bought it or not.

What do you think the odds of the dealership covering this under warranty are?

It's not a cleaner - it's definitely heated brake fluid that weep-ed and went down your caliper. I had it on mine, and it was EXACTLY the same. No doubt, Mike's seen it a ton of times himself.

Ask your seller if he ever pushed the brakes hard, or have you pushed them pretty hard yourself?

I haven't pushed them hard (at least I don't think I pushed them hard enough to have this happen).

Anyone care to give me a clue how likely it is the dealer would cover this? They just recently replaced a broken gas door lock mechanism that was broken when I bought it, but they did it under warranty without asking any questions so maybe this caliper thing isn't too far off?

It's worth a shot, that's for sure. You could argue your brake bleeder valve is leaking for no reason and as such, it permanently stained the finish on the calipers.

anyone wanna get me some pictures of your calipers with the milage on them? I just want to make sure this sort of thing wouldn't happen just from age. Plus it's something extra to prove my point to the dealership.
