Z1 front adjustable camber arms

Street or track version? I'm curious about the streets since I've only seen my own track version. Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk

Default Street version for me

I installed the street version since they use Urethane bushings and not the solid the race version have.
Less noise and vibration transfer and fully rebuild able.
I understand you can change them from one to the other just have to buy them other type.

Just happened in the last 2 hours. I have Emailed Z1 and had car towed to shop.
This seems to be an issue Z1 Front Upper Control Arm (race) followup - Page 3 - MyG37.
Had them installed less then 300 miles ago and these are the street version.

I talked to Chuck from Z1 this morning he said to have my shop contact him and they will sent new part. My shop isn't open yet, In AZ it's only 6:50am here.

He was saying that they have had some issues with these but thought most problems were from people or shops disessembeling the ball joint and not using locktite properly when putting back together.
Since I installed mine and was present when my car was alligned it was not the case.
None of us disessembeled the ball joint EVER. They were preessembled from the factory and were left that way.

Got the same email. Recently started hearing clunking noise coming from left front after greasing them to eliminate squeaking noises. Glad I didn't do the canyon run I had planned to this weekend.

There seems to be a patern formimg with these.
Zl is saying the ball jonts need a different locktite so the bolt doesnt back out.

Default Helm joint Malfunction

This is ridiculous,

Last night coming home from Palm springs my Driver Side z1 upper control arms malfunctioned as well. I received the same email that you have from spencer.

Luckily I didnt get into an accident. I replied to their email to verify that the upper control arm was the issue but not have heard anything back form them.

Terrible

I just called them and the guy (not Chuck or Spencer, didn't get his name) said there's no problem with any of their FUCA purchased within the last few weeks. I told him about the email people are receiving and he says it was a mistake and never should've been sent.

Something seems very fishy.

Ive only had my upper control arms since February 2016. This is still an issue. When the tow truck driver put my car on a jack he pulled out the bolt. showed me what the issue was. Im not sure giving me a replacement part will make me feel better about using their control arms.
