I'm using a Muteki on my K3 wheels for almost 10k miles without any issue or whatsoever. So what's the problem?

yah, why bother using a torque wrench. just go by feel.

I don't recall stating any of this as fact... however, i think spline drives are ugly. Maybe that's why i don't like most lugs.

Got my wheels mounted today and this dumbass didnt measure the OEM lugs before hand and turns out they wont fit the new wheels.

so i have to get some new lugs from the shop that mounts the wheels.

anyone using these? Muteki Lugs. How reliable are they besides the chipping issue? (more worry about durability and reliability than the colors chipping since i wont be able to get another set until i come back from my trip)

these are the ones i got

im running muteki sr48 lugs and theyre solid. its a steel lug and i dont notice any chipping yet. but, im also really careful, hell people laugh at me when i bust these out:

these are the ones i got

I own the Muteki SR35 close ended ones. No chipping since day one cause i'm very careful when it comes to the wheels and lug. Durability wise, i've been using it for about 10k miles without any issues nor even the treads are damaged. They're very good for the amount offered for

I've had my Muteki's since March - about 10k miles. No issues. Looks as good as the day I bought it. I do need an extra key just in case though.

^ That reminds me, if you pull your wheels off and/or re-torque regularly, you should stock up on those keyed sockets. At least with Muteki, that's the one problem I have had, is that the socket's wall will sometimes eventually tear/fail before you're done with the lugs it came with (from removals w/ impact wrench).

you shouldn't use impact wrenches with those adapters... hell, i dont use impact wrenches on any of my nice wheels.
