I decided to give Muteki lug nuts a try. I ordered a set of the SR35 Closed End Neo Chrome lug nuts from Import Parts Pro. Interested to see how they look on my black wheels, I've been running black lug nuts on them as I have never been sure how they would look with colored or Neo Chrome lugs. I was looking at Password JDM lug nuts from Concept Z Performance but couldn't find anyone running them on a Z so I went with the more popular Muteki's.

Read through this whole thread and did a search via google for the site. Asking as it has been a few years for this thread and things might have changed.
I have a 2013 NISMO with stock Rays rims. I am looking for a gloss black lug. Only time the rims come off is for tire/rubber change. After reading all this I am thinking of getting a second set of OEM lugs and PC them black. Do I have any other options for stock 2013 rays rims? |

I had an older porsche, wanted gloss black lugs, couldnt find them...finally found a gloss black vinyl overlay(cover) that worked quite well...found them on ebay somewhere.

Evasive will but why not just go direct? Don't think there's any deals to be had.

Same here just read this whole thread....so just to get this right or confirm.....the Z1 lugs are the only aftermarket lug nuts that will fit the stock Sport or Nismo rims?

Got it....So for aftermarket lugs u must have aftermarket wheels....and would most of u recommend extended studs?

There is zero reason to run extended studs unless you are running spacers

Fixed your quote there a little. There are benefits to running extended studs - but the benefits are nearly entirely for the track or any high-stress situation. The combination of stronger studs that are longer help with safety margins.

Seeking advice...I’m interested in installing extended studs particularly the ARP studs. I need to do this as a safety requirement for the track In order to use Drag Radials. The issue I have is trying to find an open ended mag style lug but with washer to use on my OEM wheels for off track/daily use.
I read in a thread somewhere that someone tried cutting the caps off their OEM lugs but I’m not sure if this actually worked. If anyone has any suggestions/experience on an open ended mag style nut with washer or whether cutting the caps off the OEM lugs actually works pls chime in
