Just came back from the dealership, at first the tow truck guy arrived with a different type of replacements to the scene. He had to go back to the dealership to get the wheels mounted off the only showroom nismo.

WOW, never heard of a dealer doing that. Awesome. And what morons... Any 370Z wheel fits, lol

$4000 theft doesn't really warrant a fingerprint expert to come in. They wouldn't take prints off the wood because the burglary wasn't big enough.

And you'd be REALLY surprised... The amount of stuff they can take fingerprints from is about 0... Woman spent... 8 hours in my home... Got 4 prints... Only 2 were full...

Oh, I forgot, there was blood on the window that they entered... Didn't give half a shite.

Supposedly they don't even have the key for their bolt patterns.
Pretty expensive...
If you use the Gorilla locks, your wheels/studs will break or come loose. Return them. You CANNOT USE ANYTHING BUT OEM ON OEM WHEELS. Do NOT put yourself in danger for something stupid like wheels locks.
Lastly, they don't need a key. 3 ways of beating the system:
1) they use a universal socket (has little pins that let it attach to any shape, I'll google one in a bit
2) they put a bigger socket on your lugs, beat it on tight and twist off
And if all else fails...
3) They come back the next day with a flatbed and jack the whole car.

We had an identity theft at our office, they broke into the mailbox and stole some paperwork and eventually started writing themselves checks and buying stuff at best buy. Anyways, we hired a private investigator and he found prints on our mailbox and identified the theives, who we later caught. They are still in prison meth addicts

they certainly will fingerprint. My brother had one firearm and his wallet stolen out of his vehicle and they fingerprinted the whole thing so Idk what kind of lazy *** police force you were dealing with...

Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions, really do appreciate it.

Quick update...i still haven't received my car back.
The wheels came in but in the process of reinstalling the brake lines, they broke something and the guy had to reorder that part.

Should be coming in tomorrow, btw total damages were 7,100

True, but theft is mostly based off off value. I have lots of guns but none that retail for $3000-4000. I'd want more police work for 4k wheels vs a $500 glock.

But a stolen gun may be used to commit murder. I doubt someone's gonna strap a set of Nissan sport package rims onto their car just to run someone over.

I finally got my car back!

However I'm not happy, the Yokohama Advan Sport feel so weird, so much understeer...could it be I got a set of lemons?

The bf goodrich kdw's and kumho spts were alot less in price and I never felt any form of understeer...

I dont think you got lemons, I am in the process of switching these stock tires out myself because i have never had such a horrible experience with a set of tires as these. I find that when the weather is even moderately cool outside they have absolutely no traction whatsoever and in the wet they are even worse. I am contemplating getting michelin pilot sport as3's.

Is it usual protocol for an insurance company to just replace with stock tires? I thought they have to replace what you have on at the time of loss.

Doesn't matter. Value is value. You go to jail based off of price. Guns are stolen for profit and selling. Murders don't go around breaking into cars in hopes of finding a gun to go kill someone. Premeditated murder isn't as popular as you think haha.
