Seriously, Mr. Mobil1Mike (if that's your real name),

These are excellent tires in terms of wet and dry performance and road noise. They grip like nothing I have experienced and believe me when I tell you that I tried, my sons tried, to break them loose and they just take it and ask for more.

Longevity depends on how you drive but you should expect to replace the rears in about a 2 to 1 ratio with the fronts -- if you are staggered.

Some people get worked up about how many miles they get out of their tires, but I am not one of those crazy folks. If I get around 10,000 plus out of the rears (I got 13,500 with my first set of PSS rears) then I am OK.

You need to buy them. Now. Your Z will act and feel like a new, better car. The Michelin man will smile upon you and your family for generations to come. If you follow my recommendation, I would not be surprised to end up on your Christmas card list out of sheer gratitude as well.

Yes, I like the PSS.

For a purely street tire... PSS. Longer life, better in the wet, dry grip should be about the same on most street surfaces.

If you track, RE-11 is likely the better choice. More ultimate dry grip and more durable. The PSS have a tendency to degrade/chunk on track after they get hot.

Not a fair comparison, Michelin probably makes the best all around tire for the street, no doubt. But the RE-11s are on a different level, RE-11s having much higher performance that is. I am writing based on experience, that is running both tires, not from a guy who knows a guy who spent 8 hours a day on the forum and never owned a car nor the tires

Both tires are expensive, unless you want stupid performance, you don't need either tire, you can get good tires for much less

255/35/19 & 295/30/19 PSS's i love mine. I haven't had a chance to take them to the track but they are badass on the street in the wet and dry.
