MICHELIN Pilot Super Sport tires ?

So does anyone have them on there Z, and what do you think of them?

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 03:07 PM

Lots of people have them. They are fantastic tires. I love them. Planning on ordering a set for my S2000 soon.

RandyD 06-22-2012 03:12 PM

Love. will get them again...

Tickwomp 06-22-2012 03:14 PM

Awesome tire! Better in every way (but price) than the OEM cr@p that comes on the cars.

jaycz 06-22-2012 03:39 PM

Love them. Look at them as a performance upgrade.

WHAT WHAT WHAT?

yes I have had them on my Z since April 2011 and have already burned through my rears. Want to know how I feel and think about them? Ask me. Heck, ask anyone.

They are phenomenal -- please let me kow how much detail you need from me. I am happy to share.

I took these photos out of their frames and scanned to share with you. I have them up in my hallway normally.

way da go daisy!

tires look :yum:

CorbinDallas 06-22-2012 04:27 PM

Looks good in the rear with a 35 series tire. I hate the 30's that I have back there now, I wish I could run a taller tire. These will be my next set for sure.

That's awesome! Do they perform as well on the car as they do on the driveway? ;)

Seriously, Mr. Mobil1Mike (if that's your real name),

These are excellent tires in terms of wet and dry performance and road noise. They grip like nothing I have experienced and believe me when I tell you that I tried, my sons tried, to break them loose and they just take it and ask for more.

Longevity depends on how you drive but you should expect to replace the rears in about a 2 to 1 ratio with the fronts -- if you are staggered.

Some people get worked up about how many miles they get out of their tires, but I am not one of those crazy folks. If I get around 10,000 plus out of the rears (I got 13,500 with my first set of PSS rears) then I am OK.

You need to buy them. Now. Your Z will act and feel like a new, better car. The Michelin man will smile upon you and your family for generations to come. If you follow my recommendation, I would not be surprised to end up on your Christmas card list out of sheer gratitude as well.

Yes, I like the PSS.
