So you have to have a tuner plugged in and load each map when you want them?

You have to have cruise control to switch between maps, you do it by holding down the buttons in a certain order. If you don't have cruise you can theoretically still put 5 maps in the ECU but there's no way to switch between them so the shops only flash one. To change maps you have to link up to a laptop with your cable and reflash a new tune onto the ecu

Its pretty much a small hand held computer that you use to flash the maps, when you by UpRev(Osiris Tune) you will get it. I am using HP Logic in WPB to set me up and create custom maps.
Yummy maps thanks for the info brother. Cant wait to get my Z to be UpRev'd!

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm thinking about getting this done, but I don't have any bolt ons yet. Would it be good to go ahead and tune it and enjoy the better mileage, then retune when I get the mods? Or would it be better to mod (cai, cbe, lth and hfc) and then get the uprev? And why?
