I got stranded after a gym workout, had to walk my @ss to a gas station hoping one gallon would do it. I was having fun and just made a hard right corner with three dots. She drove fine for a half mile where i parked her, then when I went to start her up, she sputtered and died... repeatedly. So I pushed her on an incline to move the fuel. I almost had it, the she died again after a couple minutes of sputtering. Luckily the gallon was enough

The fuel filler points right at the fuel sending unit. I would bet even 1/3 a gallon would be enough to get it to prime to full pressure and start the engine. Once the sending unit achieves full pressure, its venturis will be activated and it will begin to transfer fuel from the driver's side itself. However, it doesnt transfer extremely fast so I would try not to burn off all the fuel right away!
