The reason I overfilled it was mainly due to me being in a hurry and parked on a hill. I have read of people complaining about their cars burning oil

The reason I overfilled it was mainly due to me being in a hurry and parked on a hill. I have read of people complaining about their cars burning oil and mine has gone from right at the max line to just under the minimum line in about 1.5 months, about 1200 miles.
