My best stupid user trick for losing power so far: accidentally set the parking brake adjustment on the rear shoes too hard, they were dragging a bit the whole time
It's easy to adjust with the wheel off though, there's a little rubber plug on the brake rotor. Pull that out, rotate the hub until you can see some little teeth through it with a flashlight, and reach in there with a screwdriver and turn the adjustment gear.
