You need to stay on top of your tire pressures too. Just knowing your starting temps is good but you need a lot more information, they may be going up to 40+ at the end, you don't know. Measure before, after, and if you can during; have someone measure your times in the pit lane one session. You just don’t get the full life out of a tire without 2nd of wheels. One thing that can prolong the life, would be to rotate/flip the tires and stick to factory alignment specs for front toe.
