Default Need new front tires

Well my front tires lasted about 5K miles more than my back ones did and Im now in need of new front tires. I replaced my back tires with the stock tires and found a great deal a few months back for 2 stock back tires for $250 for both + shipping. I dont want to use stock front tires and want ones that are quieter than stock and will last a little longer than stock ones. Im also looking to stay as cheap as possible without really affecting its performance. Are there any good quiet fronts tires out there under $200 bucks that will still let me have some fun? Thanks.

I have a touring edition only.

not sure how much the continental DW's run at the moment, have you checked those? it's a fairly inexpensive tire for wat it can do.

You'll be fine mixing tire types as long as they are the same general category (max performance with max performance). I wouldn't put all weather tires on one axle and summers on the other though.

For example, when my front RE-11s wear out, I may replace them with RS-3s until the rears are dead. A new front tire of similar class will always be better than a bald, old tire.

Ok, wasn't aware of this. I'd just always heard it's better to replace all four at once, than have 2 different sets.
