I survived a track day at Road America! I say survived because this format was super different from any previous track days I've done. Open lapping with 4 super long sessions.
I think I was on track for 2.5 to 3 hours, while my typical days have been 1 hour of track time tops once you discount the cooldown laps.
The car held up almost all day, until session 4 when I was fighting with fuel starve (I need to get CJ's kit and upgrade from my Z1 kit!), tires dying, and engine pulling timing. Diff cooler is now planned too.
I'm looking forward to the next day out there, where I hope to put together what I learned in the last session, and give it a go on fresher rubber, new alignment, and nobody in the passenger seat
