Btw, Cow, what a kit collection! I think I have a total of 7 shirts including 3 Chelsea, 1 red England 2010 Away, 1 02 Brasil, 1 Euro 2008 Germany, and one Bayern. Nothing compared to your collection!
I like that image you posted on my profile too, thanks! Milan derby weekend! I like both sides actually, can't choose between the two! Slightly biased towards Milan over Inter because I used to love Paolo Maldini. |
i think i have 3 arsenal + jacket, 1 usa away, 1 japan away, 1 manchester united training shirt (bought it for cheap haha)
the rest are actually bball jerseys :rofl2: |
Post pics of your collections. I'd love to see them.
|
ill snap some when i get home tonight
my RvP jersey from last year is still my favorite. |
I have RVP as this year's away, but it came in the day he was switched to #10. It might be my fault the yellow is bad luck.
:-( |
fucking terrible, just fucking terrible. Season is over.

On Arsenal, it was hard to watch, but I'm not giving up hope.
Milan derby off to a cracking start, but then got kind of boring for the remainder of the first half. I fell asleep after fifteen minutes only to be awakened by the commentator guy yelling. On a side note, it's bizarre how many former Juve players are on Milan (Calcioploi & Juve's subsequent relegation had a lot to do with that). Anyway, I hope Milan wins 1) because I'll never support a team with Marco Materazzi on its payroll & 2) Inter's away strip is awful (even though they're wearing the home kit, that Ed Hardy serpent crap has been burned into my retinas). I think I'm going to watch Barcelona vs Villareal instead. |

Champions League Quarter Finals start Today!
Bale and Ronaldo both back in the lineups for Spurs and Real Madrid, respectively: UEFA Champions League 2011 - Real Madrid-Tottenham ? UEFA.com |
I can't decide who to root for in the Real vs Spurs match.
I'm incapable of watching without rooting for one team. |
^ the fact you're considering spurs shows how far arsenal has fallen this season :p
(which, really, isn't that far at all, but all the boo birds are out in force.) |
Nah, not really. Spurs are fun to watch since 'Arry took over-- they usually either win triumphantly or bomb spectacularly (except recently).
I don't "root" for them, but I watch expecting a good match & I take as much joy from seeing them lose as just seeing a good match. |

and bale is linked with every major club in europe. that's not an understatement, but a testament to his abilities. he and Rambo are the steel in the wales team. |
Carlotti and Fergie won't be all smiles come tomorrow. Fernando Torres, you wanted European football, well, here you have it! Now is a good time as ever to finally find the back of the net.
Sergio Ramos will have his hands full tonight with Bale down that left flank, but I think Madrid's attack will be more successful against Tottenham's shaky back line than the other way round. Starting Lineups from UEFA: (Order of player jersey number) RM: Casillas Carvalho Pepe Ramos Ronaldo Marcello Alonso Di Maria Özil Khedira Adebayor TOTT: Gomes Bale Gallas Lennon Van der Vaart Modric Crouch Dawson Corluka Sandro Assou-Ekotto Adebayor gets the nod over Karim Benzema?? |
Benzema was injured, wasn't he? Probably will be spark plug off the bench.
I hope Bale is 100% fit! They need him already, down 1-0 to Los Blancos, and Crouch gone already. Reason - idiocy. |
Madrid certainly wins the "names end in a vowel" part of the tie.
|
BTW - Ade's goal makes Mourinho look like a bloody genius for starting him over the injured-but-recovered-enough-to-play-if-he-needs-to Benzema. Who...I guess isn't even on the bench? Well then, guess he didn't recover enough :p
Ol' Ade still haunts the Spurs something ridiculous haha. |
Make that goals. 2 for Adebayor now against Spurs. Even more surprising, SCHALKE put 4 past Inter on their home ground. Huge aggregate advantage going back to Germany. That was really surprising considering Inter came from behind to send Bayern on their way. Even more surprising given Schalke's domestic form of late. Does this mean that we'll see Shaktar beat Barcelona? lol
|
Watch Dudu put two goals past Barca's defense.
|
Good for Schalke screw Inter!
|
Wow, what a day of matches. I hope tomorrow lives up to today.
|
I have 5 arsenal jerseys for sale, anyone interested?
|
Yup. Which & what sizes?
|
haha I was kidding. I'm just considering ending my allegance to the gunners :shakes head:

of course, the team this year is killing me pretty quick, so might be sooner rather than later :rofl2: Thoughts for today's match between ManUre and Chelski? I think Torres might actually score in this one. 1-1 draw, Hernandez with a stupid ridiculous header on goal to level in Fergieadded-time I would be oh so happy if Shaktar took it to Barcelona, but I think this is end of the road for them. 3-1 to Barca, Srna either assisting to Adriano or scoring himself for a late consolation. I think Pyatov is shakier than Almunia. Messi on the brace, Villa to do absolutely nothing, Afellay gets one too. |
I just want another goal like Stankovic's yesterday. Holy mother poo.
YouTube - UNBELIEVABLE Stankovic goal/Inter vs Schalke [UEFA Champions League] 04.05.2011 (embedding disabled) I watched it thinking, "Surely there's no way that ball's GOING TO GO OH MY GOD!!" |
yeah i was the same way
"hahaha, he gave it a go from the centAH HOLY SH*T WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!" |
The whole sequence was awesome. It was an amazing clearance by Neuer. He had to have been thinking, "Awesome, I got the ball 40 yards away with a flying header. I'm the fcuking man." (except in German) only to watch a guy Stankovic hit it FIRST FREAKING TIME AT CHEST LEVEL on the halfway line.
Holy freaking crap that was amazing. |
Is Torres even allowed to play in the CL?
|
Yep, since Liverpool was in the Europa League.

Less than 15 until kick now :excited: |
God, I hate Wayne Rooney. A little over an hour to set this right.
|
can't stop watching the stankovic goal!
question - why hasn't ancelotti done a change yet??? |
Here's the change now in the 70th : Malouda in, Zhirkov out. Anelka in, Drogba out?..:icon14:
|
....torres hasn't done sh*t this game. what the hell is going on?
...god dammit, COME ON YOU BLUES |
Think our owner wants to try to get the most out of his investment at the expense of the team? I have a strong feeling Abramovich has been upset at the fact Ancelotti has been pulling Torres before the 90th in games past. Anelka and Drogba work much better together than Torres and Drogba. Why not stick to what works?
86th minute; need something really special here. |
OOOOH ROBBED
Oh my goodness FERGIE FACTORED |
