we get tonked by norwich, and schalke beats dortmund. i'm officially scared.

bigsix 10-20-2012 05:37 PM

It's as if the team was asleep on the field. Lackluster performance

OMG, Celtics almost made it... almost...

No surprises in today's UEFA CL except Chelsea.

Too bad Braga couldn't hold a 2-0 lead against Utd. :shakes head:

Man U has great ability to come from behind and win games . . .

phelan 10-23-2012 09:59 PM

I really wanted Celtic to take that point. Really, REALLY wanted them to lol

phelan 10-24-2012 04:09 PM

for f*Cks sake we are toothless / useless / ridiculous

German pace and precision was just too much for the team . . . i'm thinking maybe Arshavin should have come on w/ Giroud at 60 min's

Haboob 10-24-2012 07:32 PM

Def. should have had subs on earlier. Gervinho was wasteful, but he was being played out of position too.

We lacked any striking ability today. So sad.

blue660r01 10-24-2012 09:22 PM

What about Dortmund as well?

I ******* love watching them. I'm quite annoyed I can't watch the Bundesliga this season.

Did I just say no surprises?? Now it's full of surprises last night!

there's a reason why i sometimes rock a dortmund jersey

anybody see feedback to the AGM today? wenger was a no-show? this could get ugly, fast. especially when everybody finally realized we turned profit because we sold our best players.

cow 10-25-2012 12:23 PM

I want a 2010-11 Dortmund home kit. I can't find it anywhere.

& I didn't see anything about the AGM yet. I'm in "Ugh Arsenal. Steer clear to not get annoyed." mode.

phelan 10-25-2012 01:01 PM

Yeah that one is hard to find :/

cow 10-25-2012 01:10 PM

It was hard to find when it was current. I PM'd Red once, asking if he ever came across them, being in Germany. No dice, though.

phelan 10-25-2012 01:11 PM

Red told me he'd get shot if he was seen with Dortmund stuff :icon17:

But yeah I had to dig deep to find the away jersey for this year! All the big US companies refuse to import it, only the home strip for some reason

cow 10-25-2012 01:14 PM

I remember him saying that. I'm not asking him to be seen in Dortmund stuff, only to find & ship to me.

cow 10-25-2012 01:14 PM

I've tried classicfootballshirts.co.uk, but again, no dice.

cow 10-25-2012 01:15 PM

In other news, Rodrigo Palacio needs to cut that fkn rat tail. Jesus it's hideous.

I suppose he's trying to keep the tradition of Argentinians with horrible hair alive.

phelan 10-25-2012 01:49 PM

aww don't just pick on the argentinians. footballers in general have no brain, and their hair styles show it.

Argentina has a particularly terrible history.

Javier Zanetti's immaculate side parting (that's someone's user name on thefootballramble forums!) can only do so much to offset the above transgressions against good follicle sense.

phelan 10-25-2012 03:00 PM

only mikel arteta has hair perfect enough to succeed zanetti's immaculate side parting.

i have to admit...my barber uses a picture of RvP a season or two ago to cut my hair. close cropped sides, little longer in the front lol. he's just as miserable as i am about judas leaving

cow 10-25-2012 03:33 PM

Aww. That's so sad!

bigsix 10-29-2012 12:38 AM

I thought V.Persie looked like he was 'bigger than the team' ; like he had a very big ego in relation to the Arsenal team. It was the right decision by Wenger to let him leave. I wish he would've gone to a lesser/overseas rival, though.

phelan 10-30-2012 05:26 PM

tell me someone else just watched that insanity.

Omfg i can barely breathe lol

NAAA NA NA NANANANAAAAA NANANANAAAAA GIIIROUUUUUUUUUD

Haboob 10-30-2012 08:52 PM

I didn't get to watch it (at work and away from a PC for a stream). I did watch ESPN Gamecast on my phone... wow.

Twelve goal thriller. Craziness.

forza370z 10-30-2012 11:04 PM

OMG! That was one heck of a game! 89 minutes was still 2-4 down and then 5 goals in 30 minutes! Bravo gunners!!

blue660r01 10-30-2012 11:39 PM

Possibly one of the greatest comebacks.

Haboob 10-31-2012 08:43 AM

So this is what it feels like to come back from 0-4 down? Man... now we know what Newcastle felt like in 2011.

It truly is a great feeling, more-so that we actually won it.

And Chamakh?! TWO goals?! Hell hath frozen over!

cow 10-31-2012 09:40 AM

lol that was fun

cow 10-31-2012 09:40 AM

so fun blue acknowledged it.

Welcome back, btw, noons.

phelan 10-31-2012 10:19 AM

"What about ME?! WOW! Header into the left corner, BANG!" :rofl2:

We drew Bradford City in the next round, BC being the last League Two side in the competition.

5th in terms of importance, but with really Chelsea being the last big name in the competition, we could really go get this!

(No disrespect to Swansea who I enjoy watching)

6MT 10-31-2012 07:39 PM

I saw Swansea play Newcastle last December at St. James park.

blue660r01 10-31-2012 08:39 PM

Chelsa vs Man U. Another big one today!

bigsix 11-02-2012 10:42 AM
